Purpose of the course: students gain knowledge about the stages of database development, about promising directions for the development of the database; acquisition of skills and abilities by students in the field of design, development and administration of databases; the formation of students' conceptual ideas about the basic principles of building a database, database management systems, mathematical models describing a database, as well as about the main technologies for implementing a database.
