The purpose of the course is to learn methods and technologies of practical data analysis, creating and evaluating data analysis models.
Course objectives are:
- formation of skills for choosing and using data analysis methods and tools to solve research problems.
- learn how to use the ETL process.
- perform different types of data analysis methods.
- learn using analytical platforms and tools to solve business problems.

Students successfully completing the course will be able to:
- select, understand, and apply appropriate analytical tools and platforms of data analysis to solve business problems and to support managerial decision making.
- build models, evaluate the quality of the model and the resulting solutions.
- use software packages for data analysis.
- analyze and interpret output (graphs, tables, models, etc.), make decisions.
